Telegram, one of the leading Instant messaging service recently introduced bot in their mobile app. So what are bots? For those living under a cage, short for robots, Bots are simply Telegram accounts operated by software – not people – and they’ll often have AI features. The latest update to the Telegram apps made interacting with bots super-easy. In most cases you won’t even have to type anything, because bots will provide you with a set of custom buttons. Look as it the way we currently operate with USSD on our mobile phones. In comes the Panya bot, that will ease the life of Ugandans on Telegram by letting them access to information they badly need quickly. Panya is local Luganda dialect that means shortcut. The bot currently supports discovery of events and activities, places to dine out around Kampala, Cinemas to go to and the current movies showing, transportation, and options to add more service. (We could and a way to let you read Techjaja on the fly via this Bot). In our experience with the bot, we were amazed with the level of accuracy this bot has and we highly recommend Telegram users to give it a short. To access it especially those who have connected to desktops and try it out here. and for mobile users use this one here.
