MTN’s Gaga Wednesday data bundles are now valid for three days

If you love bulk data at a favorable price than the usual data bundles by major telcos in Uganda, then Africell’s Don’t be cheated and MTN’s Gaga Wednesdays have been on the run for some exciting offers in the middle of every single week. MTN’s Gaga Wednesday bundles in particular have been able to run for more than the stipulated hours, of course with a little hack of purchasing any data bundle and only expire with that new purchased bundle expiring but that is no more. The bundles are now valid for 3 days after purchase.

Given the pricey data bundles these days, using Gaga Wednesday bundles is one way of saving some extra shillings as they fluctuate between 4GB,3GB or 2GB offered on the MyMTN app every Wednesday, but still less than they would cost if we go by the conventional data pricing.

However, as users were busy complaining about the changes in packages offered every week, the Yello telco has now made the bundles valid for 3 days in the same fashion as Airtel’s 1GB for 3days package.

How to Activate the Gaga Wednesday bundle

Imagine if you had data to take you through the midweek hustles and taste a support line for the weekend, Yes! that’s what the Gaga Wednesday bundle has turned into and worry not, we got you covered in case you wish to maneuver through the quick steps of activating the amazing bulk data package.

Step 1: Download and Install the MyMTN app

Step 2: Deposit or check if you have enough mobile money on your account lets say UGX 5,000 or more

Step 2: Register/Login to access your control dashboard

Step 3: Select the My self-service option

Step 4: Select buy data and choose Gaga Wednesday on drop down menu

Step 5: Buy the bundle and approve purchase via mobile money

Gaga Wednesday bundles now match Airtel’s almost similar offering of 1GB that is valid for 3 days at 5000 UGX, but with more data at stake. We can only wait for a counter offer from other telcos like Airtel itself or Africell.
