    MTN Uganda, DStv introduce Data Bundles for live TV streaming

    DStvNow gets data bundles

    It is the African Cup of Nations season, and the time is ripe for soccer fans that can’t think of missing the action. It is at such a time that MTN Uganda has partnered with DStv Uganda to introduce internet bundles that subscribers can utilize to easily stream TV live via the DStv Now application.

    Like it has been with the partnership that MTN has with Startimes and with Kwese-iflix, this new deal offers customers the opportunity to watch live entertainment using affordable time based data bundles.

    The DSTV Now data bundles are available for customers across all packages from premium to Access at an affordable price. The customers will have to dial *165*82# for easy and quick subscription, with the new bundles priced at UGX 6,000 and UGX 12,000 for 2 hours and 4 hours time respectively.

    The beauty about it is that the bundles are valid for 24 hours from the time of subscription, and the 2 or 4 hours only accounts for watch time.

    Once you load your DStv Now MTN Data Bundles, you’ll be able to enjoy Live TV, and start streaming all our world-class entertainment anywhere. There’s no additional subscription charge when you sign up and watch your TV via the app or the online website. All you have to do is sign up online or via the app with your DStv credentials.

    How to get the DStv Now App

    DSTV Now allows a maximum of 4 devices using the subscribers connect ID. It is available on the web and on Android and iOS devices especially smartphones and tablets. You can download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store or via the web portal. Once you’re on DStv Now, click Register and then click Yes to indicate that you’re an active DStv customer.

    MultiChoice Uganda has also announced that they are making screen casting available through Chromecast on Android to enable customers with the relevant devices to cast DStv Now to their television screens.
