Infinix is bringing three rear cameras and a teardrop notch to its S-series

Infinix last year introduced the notch to its series of phones, particularly making a significant debut on the S3X phone. The naming of the S3X was a pointer towards the iPhone X, the officially notched handset from Apple from which all the others made a copy.

Seven months down the road, a new device is around the corner, and it’s the next in line of the S-series. This upcoming phone, probably the Infinix S4, is rumored to be coming with a new look, new notch, and a set of three cameras on the rear.

We have a variety of notches on the market today, and as sleek as they seem, each of these has a way of giving a user more screen space and a better display design for the phone. The teardrop notch is just one of these, a reason why Infinix is introducing it to its device range.

The S-series being a design specifically for selfie lovers, the Infinix S4 should not disappoint when it comes to the selfie camera. Having that camera stationed in the notch while giving the phone more screen area is an awesome idea.

It is on this device that Infinix debuts a lot more features and software, which we are eager to check out.

    Rumored Infinix S4 Specifications

Building on the previously launched smartphones from Infinix, and the latest trends in the industry, we expect a 6.2-inch display on the S4, with the selfie camera in the teardrop notch at the top. Releases from other markets point at a 32 MP sensor for the front camera, which is very appealing.

A triple rear camera array is the other interesting bit about the upcoming S4, and we will wait on to see the detail to the specific sensors on each of these. Performance wise, you can expect Infinix to deliver a RAM of 3GB and 32 GB internal storage for the starter model, and a 6GB RAM and 64 GB storage for the Pro model.

If you add up a battery of at least 4000mAh, a new XOS running on Android Pie, and a likely Artificial Intelligence processor, it won’t be a bad call.
