    Infinix launches the Infinix Note 5 in Uganda: It’s beyond Intelligent

    Following the Global launch in Dubai, Infinix Uganda has launched the Infinix Note 5 in Uganda at Hotel Triangle in Kampala. After days of leaks and speculation about the Note 5, we finally had the chance of an early hands on experience at the event.

    Infinix Note 5 is a new smartphone in its Note series– a successor to the Infinix Note 4 and Note 4 Pro. Apart from the 16MP low light selfie front camera, the highlight of the Note 5 is its 3 day battery life.

    Infinix continues to bring cutting-edge technology in stylishly designed handsets to the young generation. The Note 5 is encased in beautifully designed hardware and powered by the purest form of Android —a beauty with brains.

    The Infinix Note 5 is part of the Android One program which is designed to deliver a software experience as intended by Google. Android One simply translates to a smart, secure and amazing smartphone experience.

    On the imaging front, the smartphone has a 12MP large pixel rear camera and a 16MP low light selfie camera. The Note 5 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P23 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and a 4,500mAh battery with 3A fast charge support. It is available with 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card via a dedicated slot.

    According to Infinix, the monstrous 4,500mAh can stretch through 3 days of of usage. Infinix adds that 3A Fast Charge gives a full day of battery on the Infinix Note 5. However, we shall see how the battery performs in our battery stress tests.

    The Note 5 embraces 2018’s hottest trends of edge-to-edge displays and artificial intelligence. It has an amazing 6″ FHD+ display with the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio. The edge-to-edge Infinity display gives the Note 5 a stunning look.

    Beyond Intelligent

    According to Infinix, the Note 5 will support Google Lens adding visual smarts and a new way to search what’s around you. Do you want to identify that animal breed? Or do you want to find out if that plant is poisonous? We were unable to test the feature at the event. However, we shall update you in the review of the Note 5 that will follow shortly. The Infinix Note 5 will retail at UGX 769,000 for the base model.
