Well, we are living in the future now that Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Fold together with the S10 and Huawei has finally borrowed a pass to the revolution. Huawei’s take on 5G and the foldable revolution checks in at a time when manufacturers are all competing for a favorable podium slot. Availability

As per the device unveiling last night at MWC 2019, Huawei’s Mate X will be available mid this year at an alarming price of $2600 (Approx UGX 9.6M). If you had pondered on the Galaxy fold price of $1980, then the Mate X is way too expensive to peep on. So, the Mate X is so far the best foldable smartphone we’ve seen and will be fully available before the dawn of 2019.

Although foldable smartphones are taking new twists on a trend that has attracted all manufacturers to join the league. The top-notch trend is a 2018 slogan as 2019 has ushered in a new twist that will be a full norm once Transsion lands on the right trigger to design some for Africa.
