If you don’t eat Apples, it is likely that Samsung products work perfectly for you. The company’s flagship launch of the year is nearing, and come February 20th – at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Barcelona’s Mobile World Congress, the Galaxy S10 shall be born.
Last year’s S9 was much more like an answer to the iPhone X, and was probably launched a little too early to surface it all. But given that this year is a decade anniversary for the brand, you can expect a much bigger package.
According to reports, Samsung is expected to launch at least three Galaxy S10 devices on the launch day. An entry-level S10 Lite possesing a 5.8-inch display, a standard 6.1-inch Galaxy S10 and a premium 6.4-inch Galaxy S10+.
There are also rumours of a 5G version of the S10+, but we are yet to know whether it will as well launch at the same event, given the availability of 5G networks is still in the pipeline.
Galaxy S10 Prospective specifications
A lot of rumours have surfaced in regards to the new Galaxys. The new Galaxy S10 series are likely to come with a reduced top bezel, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, and a three-lense rear camera.
The S10+ is expected to have a 4,000mAh battery, while the standard S10 will come with a 3,500mAh battery. The budget S10 model could bring a 3,000mAh battery with a bezel-free display, and Infinity-O display.
Samsung is not just focussing on the flagship sales only. The company is also extending its brand to emerging markets with the launch of the Galaxy M series in India. The series is likely to include three phones – Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20, and the Galaxy M30.
The specs are not yet public, but the devices are reported to have a tear-drop notch – the first for a Samsung device, dual rear cameras, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB-C, and a headphone jack.
