Apple Music for Android gets a redesign

Last year, Apple announced that it will revamp its user interface for iOS 10, and after a seven months wait, Android users will finally get to enjoy the same experience thanks to the new upgrade. Version 2.0’s update brings features like on-screen lyrics and a more simplified navigation, reorganizing into four sections: Library, For You, Browse, and Radio.

Other changes also include relocating “New” content under the Browse tab, and Downloaded Music that you can listen to offline. The new interface also features larger album art throughout. The update, finally put both both iOS and Android apps at per in terms of user interface with no material design to separate it.

Apple Music for Android is free on the Google Play Store, as we’ve noted before due to geographical differentiated pricing Ugandans pay $4.99 (UGX 18,000) a month while other users in US for example pay $9.99 a month.
