Airtel Uganda hits the 10 million subscriber mark with plans for better services

Airtel Uganda has started the new year in style. With over 10 million subscribers on the  Network. Its by no doubt that MTN Uganda is followed by Airtel Uganda as the 2nd most popular mobile network in Uganda. Having reignited the Yoola Amajja promotion in 2017. Airtel now joins MTN in the 10 millions subscriber club thus clearly promising better service delivery against rival telecommunication companies.

Airtel Uganda’s rapid growth is fostered by its increase in products and services offered. However explaining on their growth, the Managing director Airtel Uganda VG Somasekhar said ” We have always been committed to serve, support and provide our customers with innovative products and services. We are humbled by our customers trust”.

According VG Somasekhar, Airtel’s mission is to be the most loved brand in the daily lives of Ugandans. However on a large scale many subscribers have always opted for Airtel services. Simply because the network offers relatively affordable products on the other hand. Mtn Uganda has as well previously adopted a great customer strategy with exciting promotional offers, just like the Gift a Fero product campaign.

In reference to rival telecommunication companies on the rise. We greatly believe Airtel Uganda will plan to launch new services in 2018 just like Vodafone’s rollout of Wifi hotspots around Kampala.
